Today (Friday) was set up day for the show. A 7am start and a 10pm finish …but boy was it ever worth it!
The hall is a bike-a-holics dream … the most fantastic range and variety of bikes you’ll see anywhere.
The upgrade from Classics only in past years, to this year include Customs and more modern bikes, has presented bikes I never imagined existed.
Beautiful Classics ranging from early Indians to the British, Japanese and Continental bikes of the 70s and 80s. Some seriously famous bikes including genuine Manx Nortons, two Brittens, the Worlds Fastest Indian replica. A range of Croz’s amazing restorations. An NZ built V8 Indian. An 8.2litre V8 Boss Hoss. Some seriously radical Customs, Choppers and Bobbers. Fearsome Drag bikes … the list goes on … its more than my poor brain can handle
The Trademe Auction “Spirit of Munro” Indian Scout looks even better in the flesh than in the images and its on-site for your viewing (and bidding).
The show is 9am to 5pm both Saturday (15th) and Sunday (16th) at the ASB Showgrounds. There’s plenty of parking on-site for a donation to charity.
Tickets are at the door:
- $20 Adults (14 years and over)
- $5 Kids (5-13 years)
- $40 Family Pass (2 Adults and 2 Kids)
